*Fans of this soap won't have to worry about a certain villainous character monopolizing airtime like he or she did in the past. The character is only being brought back long enough to be killed off once and for all, however don't be surprised if part of this controversial character "lives on".
*We hear a particular soap vixen isn't happy that the popular pairing she's currently in is being scrapped so she can be paired again with a former leading man. The actress in question realizes she will get more airtime with her former lead, however she is enjoying working with her current onscreen beau. With at least three of the actors in this quadrangle unhappy, will the network rethink their strategy?
*The upcoming exit of a popular soap character and the actress who plays her could result in a.) the character's iconic former love returning to escort her off the canvas. b.) the character being presumed dead in a very deja vu manner or c.) the character being killed off for real.
*For the first time in the over a decade that one actress has been on her soap, she is seriously considering leaving to pursue primetime and film, due to her frustration over her storyline. This trooper, who has rarely spoken out about a storyline, isn't the only one thinking of jetting. Her wildly popular leading man is also said to be thisclose to not re-upping once his contract his up. Many fear this could send the show, which has been largely written around the actor for years, into a ratings freefall.
*An Emmy-winning actress is said to be screaming for a better storyline, however setsiders say the diva is her on worst enemy. Her obnoxious behavior and penchant for changing scripts is generally considered before her talent in terms of story distribution. It doesn't help that the cast can't stand her.
*Reports that have one West Coast heartthrob on his way out could be premature.
*Sources close to the brass at one soap are saying don't believe the ratings hype. The soap has two to three years on the air at best. Look for a small handfull of the show's big names characters and actors to be spun off to the remaining soaps if this happens.
*While one actress who was plucked from another soap is struggling to find her footing onscreen and off, another actress, brought on in a recurring role, is said to be impressing the brass so much she will be offered a contract any day.
*Several execs and writers are saying they're fed up with actors who have been allowed to let their backstage sexual antics dictate storylines over the years.
*Two high-profile writers at one struggling soap are said to be majorly frustrated over the fact that every storyline they pitch tends to be rejected by the network brass. Big name actors on the soap are said to be just as angry, which could lead to a mass exodus the soap might not be able to recover from.
*A head writer who achieved mad acclaim in recent years is said to be booted sooner rather than later. The Emmy-winning writer will be offered the chance to take a demotion to either script writer or a breakdown position. If he or she doesn't accept, they will simply be shown the door.
*Don't expect this soap opera to ever be a training ground for new talent again if the show's executive producer (Who has jumped from soap-to-soap-to-soap) has anything to say about it. The exec, known for recycling campy, over-the-top, 90's-era plots, is said to only be looking to bring on "names" in new roles. So much for a budget crunch.
*One soap actress, who received much love and airtime from a head writer who has since been tossed, is said to still be walking around on set like royalty. From what we hear this actress is the Queen of Denial if she thinks the new execs and writers helming the soap she's on are going to keep putting up with her over-the-top shenanigans.
*The two daytime sudsers arguably in the most trouble in terms of cancellation talks are said to be in a fight to the death to sign a wildly popular actress who has already worked for both of the networks that air the soaps.
*Insiders are speculating that it won't be long before executive-level bloodbaths currently sweeping through the rest of the entertainment industry has at least one daytime chief looking for a job.

Maura West and Michael Park? They have certainly written the show around them for years.

This one is definately Rebecca's Budig's 'Greenlee' on AMC.
There are rumors that Josh Duhamel(ex Leo) could return for her exit OR that they will hire a Leo look-a-like.
I would LOVE for that to happen as Leo and Greenlee were my favorite soap pairing.

Are these from all soaps?

The actress in question realizes she will get more airtime with her former lead, however she is enjoying working with her current onscreen beau. With at least three of the actors in this quadrangle unhappy, will the network rethink their strategy?I'm certain this is GH. At first I thought this blind is about Kirsten Storms. The current pairing is Maxie/Spinelli and they may want to put her with Jason Cook's Matt. Kirsten and Jason were wildly popular on Days as Shawn/Belle. The only thing is there isn't a quadrangle. The more I think about it though, it really sounds like Kelly Monaco's Sam. Sam's paired with Lucky which is suprisingly popular with the fans. She would definitely get more airtime if paired again with Steve Burton;s Jason because he gets tons of screen time.

I'd cry if it were Maura. I don't think the soap would recover if they lost those two. ATWT writing/scripts/storylines has been horrible. The performances of Maura and Michael keep you interested even when the story is bad. Without them..... The more I think about it the more I think it's NOT Maura and Michael. Michael Park has been pretty open about the fact that he's got 3 kids and this is a steady reliable paycheck and he's happy with the job security. Not to say he doesn't like what he does or love being Jack, just that he's happy to stay where he is.

Kirsten has said time and time and time again that she loves working with Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) so I don't think this is her.
Now the second one definitely sounds like GH. The "wildly popular" actor has to be Steve Burton. Rumors have been flying that he may leave when his contract is up and yes, GH has centered around him for a number of years. The actress could be Kelly Monaco, but since she hasn't been there over a decade, I'll say Rebecca Herbst.

My guess would also be the Lucky/Sam/Liz/Jason quad.
They just ended Liz/Jason and with Jason/Sam being pushed back together, I can totally see Kelly not being happy with it.
No offense to JaSam fans- but I never saw them as a great couple.
I actually enjoyed Lucky/Sam, Liz/Jason and Lucky/Liz- but when the writers broke up Liz/Lucky and Jason/Sam- they trashed all the characters and even turned me(a HUGE Liason fan) against Liz/Jason as a couple.
I UBER loved Liason back in 99- 2002, but this last time they bored me and I couldn't get over how Lucky was ruined to prop them.
Sam, I could care less about- but I enjoyed her with Lucky just because Greg and Kelly had great chemistry together.
SO not excited about JaSam part deux coming back...

I was thinking OLTL.
And you wouldn't be too far off since the person they are referring to could very well be former OLTL executive producer Gary Tomlin, who is now at Days. But also, Days has been bringing on "names" for the short term roles (and I mean prime time and film actors as well as uber popular performers from other soaps) as of late. And Tomlin also worked on Passions.... 'nuff said.

Kirsten does love working with Bradford. The blind said the actress DID like working with her current pairing (which would be Bradford), but since there isn't a quad, I too now think it's not about Kristen. I still thinking THIS blind is Kelly Monaco's Sam and the Sam/Lucky/Liz/Jason quad.
Now the second blind I posted about:
*For the first time in the over a decade that one actress has been on her soap, she is seriously considering leaving to pursue primetime and film, due to her frustration over her storyline. This trooper, who has rarely spoken out about a storyline, isn't the only one thinking of jetting. It does sound more like her than Maura West. (I hate to see Rebecca leave GH, but I'd REALLY hate to see Maura go). Though with a family, I'd be surprised to see Rebecca take this kind of risk, leaving behind a steady paycheck.

Josh from AMC and his heart will "live on" in Kendall. They should switch the characters around because Kendall is a big drag.
*We hear a particular soap vixen isn't happy that the popular pairing she's currently in is being scrapped so she can be paired again with a former leading man. I really hope this isn't Kim Zimmer of GL because I really want her character Reva back with Josh Lewis.
*The upcoming exit of a popular soap character and the actress who plays her could result in a.) the character's iconic former love returning to escort her off the canvas. b.) the character being presumed dead in a very deja vu manner or c.) the character being killed off for real.
Definitely Rebecca Budig (Greenlee) on AMC. I hope Josh Duhamel comes back as Leo and sweeps her away!
*While one actress who was plucked from another soap is struggling to find her footing onscreen and off, another actress, brought on in a recurring role, is said to be impressing the brass so much she will be offered a contract any day.
I think this is Beth Ehlers - Taylor on AMC, former Harley on GL. Her character simply is NOT working on AMC at all and I have read that the actress who plays newbie character Carmen has already been offered a contract.
*Two high-profile writers at one struggling soap are said to be majorly frustrated over the fact that every storyline they pitch tends to be rejected by the network brass. Big name actors on the soap are said to be just as angry, which could lead to a mass exodus the soap might not be able to recover from.

David Kreizman of GL or maybe Hogan Sheffer. I've also read some speculation that it might be Ron Carlavati of OLTL.
Maura West and Michael Park? They have certainly written the show around them for years.
Except Maura has left the show before. Has she been back 10 years?
What got me was "in the past." Craig is a returning character. Is Josh from AMC a returning character?
Yes he is. And he is "controversial" because he is an unabortion. They wrote a horrid story about how Erica Kane's groundbreaking abortion back in the '70s was undone by a mad doctor who transplanted the fetus into his wife. Something you can't even do TODAY!

Read the BI again: It says an actress who has been on her show for over a decade is considering leaving for the FIRST time, which would leave Maura out. The leading man has had the show largely written around HIM (not her, or him and her) for years and the show fears a ratings freefall if this actor leaves. I honestly and truly don't think they are talking about Michael and Maura.
I still say it's Steve Burton from GH. They would fall on their faces without him because the entire show revolves around Jason. And I believe the actress in question is Becky Herbst.
These things drive me crazy...but I honestly don't think it's referring to Maura and Michael. I could have sworn I heard that he and Trent signed three-year deals last year, around the same time.
I just can't see either Maura or Michael leaving for "primetime" which means L.A. And as much as I think Carly and Jack have been written for...I wouldn't call the show "written around" either of them.

I don't see this as Michael and Maura. They've expressed displeasure with storylines before, but after the story is over (Maura about AmnesiaJack comes to mind) and seem to be able to distance themselves from bad writing/bad stories since they are both able to come in, read the lines (fantastically, IMO), and then go home to their families. It is too convenient a job situation to shake up, plus their regard for each other is so high that IMO I don't think one would consider leaving permanently unless/until the other does. In the meantime, Michael takes creative breaks by doing stage work.
"Written around" could be a relative term. They are always featured; even if not as CarJack, then to prop up other stories as they are now.
...but I would hate for them to go! IA that if they did, ATWT would be in a bad way.

Judging from this GH promo (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W2DUxvPStBk) showing Lucky/liz and Jason/Sam reuniting; I'm still going with Kelly Monaco as the vixen, Steve Burton and Becky Herbst as the other two who are unhappy due to the Liz/Jason pairing being cut short(they've openly talked about it in the mags) and I bet Greg Vaughn is the only one who doesn't care either way what pairing he gets stuck with (Lucky/Liz or Lucky/Sam).
