I'm slowly warming back up to CarJack, but I'm glad Carly rejects Jack!
Let Jack crawl a bit through the mudd now.

I completely agree, but I don't think he will, I think he's gonna go back to Janet. If you can't love the one you want, love the one your with!! I hope I'm wrong, I like your plans better ;)

I think Janet will be the one to tell Jack to fight for Carly. Janet already sees the connection between Jack and Carly and like she and Katie discussed knows it will never be broken. Janet wouldn't settle for a relationship with Jack when she knows his heart is still with Carly. I think she'll make him see the relationship with Carly is worth fighting for. And in things Jack has said, it's clear his feelings for Janet aren't that strong and he really didn't want a relationship with her.

^^^^ You just named the big pet peeve i have with the Carjack couple viciousgirl!
I so not like the way they (mostly Jack) "use" third parties when they break up.. They keep coming back to each other and know very well that they always think about one and other as their big love.
Yet they see no fault in making a third party fall deeply for one off them and then dumping them cruelly usually by them Carjack sleeping together and reuniting after that..
I find that cruel to be honest. I also hate how the writers in the past turned very likable characters like Julia 1 into lunatics to reunited them because if they had not changed Julia 1 into a luny people would not have liked the way Carjack treated her...
Same went for Simon. Carly supposedly loved him yet saw no beef in letting him take all the rap for the jewel heist when returning to town to keep herself out of jail.. The one moment she could hardly breath because she psychically hurted because she missed her beloved Simon, 2 seconds after that she went all guns blazing for Jack again..
I wished the writers would break the pattern because i am not liking this couple because of this:(
Juicy will be the next girl going down in the Carjack love saga. And while i don't like her i still don't like the way things seem to head!

^^ I don't think Janet will get hurt like all the other got hurt. Mainly because Janet is smart enough to realize that what Jack and Carly have will never be over, so she has two options: 1. settle for the remaining part of Jack, or 2. walk away before she gets hurt...I'm thinking Janet will do the last one because we've seen more than once that Janet saw Carjack's strong connection and she even told Carly to take her own advice (the advice she gave Janet=fight for Jack, because he's worth it). And she's not throwing herself at Jack pushing him, trying to make him love her more than Carly... I don't see her and Carly competing, something I did see with the previous ones.

I think Carly calling Janet to be by Jack's side is gonna send him the message that she is done..I Think I see Jack more dropping hints and stuff after Carly turns him down. With the Janet thing.. I can't say that I'm 100% set in mind that Jacket will be back.. cause I'm not. I wouldn't be surprised though, we'll see. I hope I'm wrong!!

I don't think Janet would take Jack back. She explains to Liberty in tomorrow's preview that Carly is in Jack's blood and she doesn't want to get her heart broken http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mMDnZZnfBj8
There is also the down the road spoiler that Janet helps Jack figure out what he wants and I think that will be that he wants to fight for Carly. I don't think they will take the relationship between Janet and Jack any farther because I think they want to keep Janet as a viable character and having her back away and tell Jack to fight for Carly does exactly that. Since she already knows she would always be 2nd best, having her settle for that would damage the character since she has said she would never do that.

Oh boy, that's some real faith Paulie boy has in his wife, isn't it?

His complete lack of faith in her is the ONE thing that makes sense in this crappy story.
Meg has NEVER put him first.
She always chooses others over him. She was the one who FIRST told Dusty Paul was alive, Dusty just didn't believe her.
When Dusty was in jail for trying to kill Craig, she condemned Paul for the same thing but went to Emily for help in springing Dusty.
She continously chose Craig over Paul.
And I've always maintained that if Dusty ever wagged an eyebrow at her she'd go running back in a second.
Now, if only Paul would realize his lack of faith in her is a pattern because she's EARNED that lack of faith and dumps her for good, I might just start watching this show again.

Meg stands proudly next to Paul and has every faith in him; how many time now has Dusty tried to dissuade Meg from Paul??? Meg defended Paul and their marriage EVERY time. Dusty WHO?? That ship sailed a LOOOOOOOOOOONG time ago; LOL. AND, as I recall, EMILY was the first to tell Dusty that Paul was alive after having shot him, rolled him over a cliff and left him for dead while covering her tracks (some love LOL), ONLY because she was GREEN with jealousy (selfish ho). I think it's funny how selective amnesia works. Emily has done FAR WORSE to not only Paul but Tom and Margo and every man she's ever been involved with and has slept with more men than any other woman in Oakdale LOL.
What Paul is going through right now has nothing to do with lack of faith in Meg; James has been mentally and emotionally abusing Paul for years now. When Paul had a chance to 'think' yesterday, he KNEW Meg wouldn't leave him. James has an abusive hold on Paul that makes Paul vulnerable to him. Today Paul will show who he believes and who he doesn't when clarity comes back as he protects his wife and unborn child and brings his family home. I can't wait!!! GO PAUL!!

Exactly. The only time I've seen wussy, panty boy act so insecure is since he's been with the skeezy sk@nky Ho.
ETA: someone has a very hard time keeping sweet Em's name out of her post about Paulie boy. Me thinks Paulie ain't the only one insecure. Oh. And Paul is loony. Just wanted to add that.

IA I haven't Paul act soooo loony and insecure since he's been with Meg.
I really liked PEG together, in the beginning, but when Meg kind of chose Craig over him well, it kinda sunk for me.
I liked Emily and Paul as well, but I don't remember where I didn't like them anymore.... oh, didn't Meg come in between them somewhere?
Paul and Rose were the best couple IMO - Paul was a strong guy, a bit strange in my opinion, but he could compete against Dusty.
Now, if I'm completely honest, Dusty wouldn't even have to lift a finger to blow Paul away.

Um, I think you missed this:
Paul turns on Dusty, believing that he and Meg were having an affair!

Um, I think you missed this:
Paul turns on Dusty, believing that he and Meg were having an affair!
James has Paul so dissheveled he doesn't know which way is up. When Meg told Paul she belongs to him, Paul asked her 'and Dusty?' and Meg said 'Dusty's just a friend who was helping me find my way back to you'. Paul immediately put the gun down and came to himself; until James started in again. Only this time Paul aimed at James, not Dusty.
Again, this has NOTHING to do with Paul's lack of faith in Meg; this has everything to do with Paul's lack of faith in himself because of all the mental and emotional abuse James has constantly bashed him with. James calls Paul worthless and tells him he's not good enough, that he's not a man.
I didn't miss anything; Paul's mind is being manipulated by a man who calls himself his 'father'. A father is someone you're 'supposed' to be able to trust. There's an unfulfilled need in Paul for acceptance from a father, his father. He's never gotten that. When James first came back and made a comment to Paul about the way he talks to his father, Paul said 'I've never had a father'. That speaks volumes about how Paul perceives himself.
This storyline, I believe, is going to be about Paul's growth. He's about to become a father himself so he has to put all his 'twisted by James' perceptions of who and what a father are and of who or what he is...or isn't. He's nothing like James. Thank goodness for that!!! Now he's got a wife who truly loves him and a son or daughter on the way. I'm sure Paul is going to overcome and conquer his misperceptions and his demons within. It should be very eye opening and I'm looking very forward to it.

I have always wanted to see Paul as a father precisely due to what he has gone through with James. I've always felt that he was a little afraid that he wouldn't be a good father himself, yet he loves kids. Having a child of his own might be what finally frees Paul from James' shadow.

You can spin it all you want. James should never of been able to convince Paul that Meg was having an affair with Dusty. If Paul's love for Meg is so strong, then no amount of convincing from a man Paul's supposed to know inside and out should of been able to convince him otherwise. And it didn't take much convincing from James to make Paul think that, did it?

Actually, it took YEARS of compounded ABUSE!!! :( Though it didn't take but a few choice words from Meg for him to quickly realize the truth and come back to sanity. Thank you Meg.
