Can't blame him... he's watched them hire all these people just to turn around and fire them. THe smart thing to do is jump off the sinking ship and swim as far away as possible as fast as possible.
And I don't want Mark Collier returning anytime soon or ever.

I floved SC as Mike back in the day. But now when I see him in other roles, it's obvious he hasn't really "grown" as an actor. Turning Mike into some earnest do-gooder? No thanks. And I don't want Mike back if they're just going to throw him under Katie. (or over her for that matter. :D)
I thought Mark Collier was one of the worst actors this show has kept employed. EVER. Period. So, vaya con Dios...but stay in LA, Mark.

LOL!! Oh, c'mon! He was ok. I thought he fit the character pretty well. One of the worst EVER?? Compared to that guy that played the boxer...Celia's brother who loved Lucy- don't remember his name, MC was Emmy material. OMG - dreadful!!:(

LOL...the key words there were "kept employed". :D So actors on less than six months (or so) don't count. Sorry, I still think he was just awful. And when you consider a versatile actor like Trent was kept on the backburner to accomodate Mike's unending string of "romantic entanglements", it's a crime.
I like Jon Prescott, and I think he's getting shafted. I would much rather have seen his Mike stay in town. The role of Mike might not have been the best fit for him, but it's clear TIIC didn't have a plan for him either, other than the "hilarity" of Mike reappearing for Katie's last wedding.:rolleyes:

Mine too ! But I can't say as I blame him for not wanting to come back. At least as long as CG and JP are there.

its too bad they did not have mike and henry team up more like when he first came back, only better. they had this poor guy portray mike as a really dull sad sap. i wish the actor well and hope he pops up on another program that i watch.

OMG - I forgot all about that recast!!!!!! I am LOL now remembering that they actually brought on a recast that made the first one look like a stage veteran. They were both so bad....
