Paul and Meg have a breakthrough when he thanks her for caring for Barbara and she drops the restraining order. After Paul kisses Meg, she tells Mike she's still in love with Paul. Rejected by Paul, Sofie trashes his room and cuts herself, then tells Mike that she was raped.

My reaction to this is a big WTH. First, Tom only yesterday talked Margo into letting Casey take things at his own pace. What changed there? And, second, both Tom and Margo were agonized while he was in jail. They worried about him and what it was doing to him, and had several heart-to-hearts about their fears of failing him as his parents. There is NO WAY, not even as an 'obstacle' to Casey/Emily, that they would ever want to see him go back or ever have that even be an ultimatum.

As soon as Meg/Paul get back together they will be apart again, just like the last time she agree to date Paul, Mike came with the letter and they were fighting again. Their relationship will always be a boring mess of repeats of the same thing. Mike will believe, Meg will believe and jump in bed with Mike or get closure to Mike.
Cole will be back in a week or two, so what the point. I see nothing for PEG to be happy about. Plus, should Meg/Paul ever came together, it would only be days before it's over again. Why, because they have less than Paul/Sofie have. Paul/Sofie had a loving friendship, she's not able to handle rejection well, because of her upbringing. Same as Paul not able to handle it well. Sofie has a lot in common with the Ryan's. We can't forget Barbara while married to Hal pretended she was being stalked for attention.
