Makes Chris even more guility. when he gets made at just simple procedures. Those Tom and Margo Fans are very strict and won't let you say anything wrong against them. I'm done commenting on what they say about Emily Stewart she's a fireball and I like her so I should keep my comments to myself.

Chris is an aggravating character. Either things go just his way, or he throws a hissy fit. So far I find nothing likable about him, and I'm wondering if there isn't a curse on the character, and actors should avoid the role at all costs since all the Chrises seem to come and go so swiftly.

Until someone says Margo told Tom, you have no proof that she did tell him. She should have told Tom right away.

I know you'll stick up for Margo no matter what heinous thing she does, but we didn't see Margo telling Tom, no one mentioned that Margo had told Tom, so I think it's safe to assume that Margo did NOT tell Tom.
Really- is it all that surprising? Margo tells Tom everything about her helping to set up Craig and puts him in a compromising position when he's DA, but Margo protects her own butt when she's Chief of Detectives and Tom is Chris's lawyer. Margo is the definition of self-righteous hypocrite. It took her years to forgive Tom for fathering Daniel, even though he forgave her for having a baby with Hal hours after discovering the truth.

 Margo probably hasn't had time to pee, much less tell Tom. After all, she is investigating a MURDER. :D Wait now two murders.

Actually, it is IMHO. When Katie was accusing Chris of stalking her, even though Margo was on her sister's side and Tom was on Chris', she still warned Tom about Katie's plan to air a news story on Chris when she didn't have to. If something is important, she normally has told Tom. They seem to be doing well at communicating, and Margo's refusal to speak to Emily confidentially gave every indication to assume that she would tell.
However, if TIIC won't bring Tom into this or write any scenes for him, we won't know. Tom's absence has nothing to do with Margo and everything to do with the writing. He also should have been more involved with Bob's stroke, but he wasn't. He should have been there with Chris today as his lawyer, but he wasn't. Too many times, his absence has been glaringly obvious and it is because TIIC aren't utilizing him as they should be.

Margo wasn't Chief of Detectives then. This is the biggest case she has had since her promotion. And Katie's piece on the stalker didn't give Chris a motive or provide him with an alibi. Emily's information gives Tom's client (his brother) an alibi. Did she call Tom and tell him she wanted to talk to Chris? Did she call Tom and tell him she had information about the case that, as Chris' attorney, he should be receiving anyway? Nope.
Unfortunately, it's not that big a stretch for Margo not to tell Tom, so I can't put all the blame on the writing. She has kept many secrets from him over the years. I had hoped she had changed, but like I said, she only tells Tom secrets that he might need to know in case she needs a lawyer.
The writers are writing Margo as an average COD and a bad wife, :IMHO:

Again, I have to respectfully disagree with your post and could make an argument otherwise, but it wouldn't change the fact that this does have to do with the writing. If Margo was a so-called average COD or bad wife, then Chris could have just as easily called Tom and ask him to come down to the hospital because Margo was questioning him. After all, Tom was able to pacify Margo the last time. Did Chris call him? No. During Bob's stroke, since Tom had such a close relationship with his father, he could have been at Bob's bedside talking to him or be shown struggling with his emotions instead of just hanging in the background. Did he have the chance? No. Now that Bob's awake, he could tell Tom that he remembers arguing with Chris before the stroke, remembers not agreeing to Memo 21, or remembers seeing Dusty in his room before Chris chased him out. Has he? No.
If TIIC aren't utilizing him, then he won't be integrated the way he could and should be.

Yes this exactly the point Its TIIC that write what they do.
We have to remember that they are fictional characters
and the writers put the words in there mouth or lack of words.

We didn't see Bob either, so we don't know that Tom wasn't there.
We are seeing Margo using the information Emily gave her to question Chris and she has not mentioned Tom at all.

By that argument- when Margo is a good wife, it's not really her being a good wife- it's the writers. And we should be celebrating the writers for keeping Tomargo together for 25 years, not Ellen Dolan.;)
The writing is always the excuse for Margo's bad behavior.

No, my point was that if Margo were to blame, then Tom could have become involved through other means if TIIC had any intention of involving him. Clearly, they don't. Right now, there is no 'bad' behavior to excuse because nothing has been dealt with one way or another.
We didn't see Bob either, so we don't know that Tom wasn't there.
We don't know that he was either since nothing has been mentioned, which is exactly what I'm trying to say. I don't know if Margo has told him, just like you don't know Margo hasn't told him. It hasn't been mentioned.

Yes rember a few years back when Margo helped run Craig out of town> And people thought she hadn't told Tom and then when Craig came back they show T&M talking about Margo getting rid of Craig! Then we saw that Margo had told Tom it just happen off screen. We very well might not know for sometime if Tom does or doesn't know! I mean has Margo even seen Tom since she found out. We just don't have any facts as of yet.
But yes I do think that Tom should have been on more then he has.
But I think there foucse right now is the murder SL and the Powers aren't pay attion to much else.

I'm not putting the blame on Margo for Tom not being shown. I am saying that Margo has not told Tom about Emily being a hooker. She did use the information Emily gave her to go question Chris. So, she does remember what Emily told her.
And until we hear from any character that Margo did tell Tom, I think it's a fair assumption that she didn't.;)

Maybe you don't care if Margo tells Tom or not, but some people who watch the show actually care about Tom and Margo. So it is an important point in their marriage. At least it is to me.
I guess at this point, it's only a big deal to me, because I like Tom. Margo fans don't seem bothered by her silence.;)

I think your HATRED for Emily is pissing you off that Margo isn't telling Tom....you wannna see Emily eat some dirt. I think that is the important point here. Not that Margo didn't tell Tom right away. Or that it has anything to do with their marriage. BTW, anyone who has seizures has turned off images. ;)

So, it's your love for Emily that makes you think Tom shouldn't be told.;) I guess you do have a horse in this race.:P
It's not my hatred for Emily, and I do hate her. It's the double standard used by Margo fans- if Margo doesn't tell Tom, it's the writing. Margo had an affair with Doc, it was the writing. Tom's one-night stand with Emily? That wasn't the writing? Come on. Margo has never treated him worse than when she was sleeping with Hal and slurping on him at the OPD and Tom had the attractive Taylor Baldwin drooling over him and wanting him and all he wanted to do was get back with Margo. And then there was the time Margo moved to DC to work with the Crime Commission and Dawn had the hots for Tom, and he turned her down, too. So, it seems like Tom should get the benefit of the doubt and the writers should be blamed for his one-night stand with Emily.
And I appreciate the Margo fans making their point of view quite clear on this by sticking up for their favorite- Margo. However, I don't think their Margo love gives them the right to look down on me of poke fun at me because I prefer Tom.;)
If and when we ever hear that Margo did tell Tom, you can just color me shocked, because I would thinkg all of Oakdale would hear Tom yell, "She was a WHAT?":D
