I have have no idea to the validity of this rumor- but it seems to correspond with other news surfacing...
The rumor states the show apparently has plans to recast Andy Dixon. It says the character returns in order to resolve things with Kim, after breaking his mother's heart last time he was in town. Apparently he has a history with Bonnie, but eyes for Vienna, and as a result both ladies will be drawn to him. Vienna and Bonnie have history with each other, and past rivalry however which will effect things with Andy.
Apparently the main contender rumored for this role is Michael McLafferty. I am not familiar with his work though.

He played Brian Beck on GH a few years ago, and was killed off around the time of the hotel fire I think.

Hmmmm ....... There JP goes again rewriting the history. Andy never had a history with Bonnie. Jp might want to actually try researching the history of the show before writing that sl....but , then again why would she start now!

Me too! But I doubt it because he is a stay at home Dad now. Great priorities for his family otherwise MW wouldn't be as available.

I would rather Scott Defreitas came back on a limited recurring basis than to give someone else the role.:( Why did he and Maura have to go making all those babies?:D

Andy left to go to rehab in I think Washington.
He has been mentioned once or twice by Kim since and I believe he was off someplace on a photography assignment.
