I read on another board that SOD is reporting that Trent D (Henry) contract is coming up and he may not resign due to lack of s/l
There was something about several actors who have contracts that expire in 2008 and there could be several that are considering leaving the show.

I don't think it's up until sometime in the spring is it? I wonder if this may also be a way to try to rally the fans. It was the fans that finally got him a contract. I know Trent usually comments on how he appreciates those that are writing.
I can understand however if he does leave. In some ways Henry's role seems to have been taken over by Brad. I don't think once they paired Henry with Vienna the show has known what to do with him which is such a shame. He is one of the more talented actors but they have never used him properly. That happened with HS as well as JP.

Well, Trent is one of the most talented actors on our show and he has always been given the backhand from TPTB. He deserves sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much better.

Well, Trent is one of the most talented actors on our show and he has always been given the backhand from TPTB. He deserves sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much better.
It's because if you don't portray a Snyder, you're not going to get airtime is basically what it is. That is all TIIC really care about.

I think the only way to save a character is to call in and say how much they're hated.

^^^^That's right! Best thing in the world is to write for Henry and Trent to remain in Oakdale letting TPTB know how much he is loved and wanted in a storyline.

SOD says it wouldn't be surprising if he chose to leave at the end of his contract. They are just speculating and it's no more real than any of us speculating. If Trent leaves, it will be his choice and we should wish him well.

I really hope this isn't true, but do think Trent deserves so much better than what he's been treated lately! My guess is that he probably wants to stay, but is wishing he got to work more often. If you don't want to lose him or his character, please write in to TPTB and the mags before it's too late - I'm sure Trent would appreciate the support! I'd hate for the show to lose another amazing actor b/c TPTB can't recognize the true talent that's right in front of their noses. :rant:

I love Henry, and always have. Back in the early days of his appearances he was kind of dark, and I enjoyed that side of him too. It just goes to show that he can do so much more than the comic relief they've relegated him to, and it would be so nice to see him blossom into a juicy s/l that let us see many facets to his personality. I certainly don't want to see him leave.

I was just watching some Henry/Emily scenes, and thought they were cute together.... why don't they do a Vienna/Emily/Henry triangle:P?
Henry's got a thing for blondes and Vienna's his girl, Katie would be too predictable and a bit odd, especially since Katie and Vienna are friends now.... Emily would be a surprise.
Emily/Henry wouldn't have been bad, but it seemed like the actors were against it or something. I can't remember but anyhow- they would have been ok had she not started treating him like her lap dog.
But that's in the past- Henry and Vienna are a HIT. Nothing can match them- so let's have them leave on a good note- ATWT are YOU listening?
I have to wonder if the show is in for a hurt with the rumored departures...so many budget cuts- it's not sounding too good IMO, but I hope not for the cast and crew on the show.
