Brad learns Carly isn't dying. Jack agrees to buy the house with Katie but says he can't move in with her because he'll be living with Carly. Jack tells the kids he's moving in. Carly draws Jack into a kiss, and the two begin to make love. Will tells Katie that Jack and Carly are in Montana. Post-lovemaking, Jack embraces a content Carly, then is swept by guilt as he looks at his wedding ring. Gwen, Will and Ali go to the hospital for the egg transplant. When Paul snaps at Rosanna, she wonders if he still wants to get married. Paul is committed to breaking it off with Rosanna, but he urges Meg to be patient with him. Noah asks if Luke wants him to be his boyfriend, and Luke says he'd like that. Luke doubts he'll get better, but Noah urges him to try. When Lily says Holden is always angry with her, he agrees and says maybe they shouldn't live together anymore.

Jack agrees to buy the house with Katie? That's awfully nice of him considering it was his idea they buy it in the first place! LMAO. He's too much. I hope Katie has the payment booklet forwarded to him at the Milltown house.

Uh, Katie decided that buying a house should be put on hold. Katie decided to kick Jack out, so she wouldn't have to wonder what he was doing. If she can't read between the lines (that Jack is trying to placate her, so he can focus on Carly), she's a fool. It's HER dream house, she can pay for it on her own. LOL...
Ugh..the Quad from Hell is definitely headed to a WTD story. Paul is a dog, btw.

She can because unlike other characters on this soap she has a succesfull career and can support herself. She does not need a man to do so and i applaude her for that..

She was insistent that he be nice to Emily and the baby...and then when he started hanging out with Emily again, when he started being there for her and the baby and they started really re-establishing their friendship and were trying to work out being parents together, when he stayed in the hospital to make sure Emily and the baby were ok? Then she lurked and stomped around and came up with the plan that he lie to Emily that he was leaving town (and yes, it was HER plan even though later she told Emily it was Paul's idea) b/c he was, heaven forbid, being caring about the mother of his child and their baby.
It's all about what MEG wants, and Meg wants the attention. Emily and the baby were taking it from her, now Rosanna is.

She can because unlike other characters on this soap she has a succesfull career and can support herself. She does not need a man to do so and i applaude her for that..
Unlike other characters, she has a successful career and can support herself? I hate to break this to you, but she's not nearly the only one.
Lucinda, Barbara, Kim, Margo....all have their own careers, assets and homes. They don't need their menfolk for them--they're covered. Lily's got money (thank you Mommy Lucinda) and home she doesn't seem to care to live in. Lisa owns her own hotel, nightclub and home. Emma's got her own property--as we all know so well because half the freaking town is living at Emma's farm.
Carly has her own home--doesn't need a man to have it. And of course, she and Lily were working on setting up a business just when JJ got kidnapped.
And the newly returned Rosanna has her own company, and piles and piles of money, and could buy and sell full communities if she was so inclined.
Of course, much of Katie's money was blood money--made by writing an anonymous pair of books where she sold out the secrets of so-called friends. I certainly don't applaud the greedy and shameless creature for the way she earned those bucks.
As to Katie having a job--working for KIM, who just happens to own the station Katie is privileged enough to work for--and buying her own home wouldn't make her special.

EXCATLY! She only wants Paul now because Ro has him. When she'll have him back, she'll find another man to play with and find a new excuse to dump Paul. She just can't stand not having Paul's undivided attention and we all know how far she'll go to get what she want. Poor Jenny and Emily paid the price last time, who will be next?

And? The point is that many of these women work (they have careers, just like the hallowed Katie)--and many of them have their own homes (just like Katie). Margo works, Babs works, Carly works (when she's not busy saving someone or dying), Lisa works, Kim works....and the list goes on. Careers aren't something that Katie has a feminine monopoly on. And on the house front--many other women have them, and don't need men to keep 'em.
Add to all this that much of Katie's assets came from selling out her friends in her two sleezy slimy books, and I wouldn't sum her up as anything to admire in the business/career arena. The point of calling her out as the only career woman who can support herself to buy a home is ludicrous.
But then again, so is Katie.
