But Jack has a surprising comeback. 'He says, "If you are disappointed, it means you really would have said yes if I had asked you". reveals Colombino. "Jack has this moment where he says "Maybe Brad made us realize something. I do love you and I want to be with you. We've been through a lot. Let's do it: Will you marry me?"

Rather than have her say "Yes" instantly, Jack & Katie decide to do the proposal right, over a romantic dinner. Vienna helps Jack pick out a ring. "But they've never had a real date happen all the way through without something going on!" previews Colombino.

Do they WANT people to watch this show? PGP may own the show and they may think they can do what they want since they have a contract, but the more they ruin, the more people will want to tune out!

What do you mean??? gmanfan. That hockey puck had to travel a long distance to strike Katie's face. And there was ice involved. I mean Kack had to brave the elements. I am sure, sure they had to cross over some unruly fan while making their way to one of the five seats at the OD ice rink. And the long involved search to find her something to cover the bruise. You know, I sit and watch time after time waiting for something to give with this LAME SL and it just never does!! Everytime I see a scene with Jack and Katie, I watch the first few seconds and then I'm so disgusted I just FF.

Same with me maxiecart, as soon as I see anything Kack, I hit the remote. I have pretty much quit watching except maybe once a week if even that. What is so sad is they are ruining Jack for me. Lavender, ICAM!!! Unfortunately, I have seen this same sh*t before, turn on an eppi of BnB. Saint Tayliar is the Katie of this show, and she doesn't have too many admirers there either!!! I am so sick of TIIC trying to re-write history or change the characters of the show!!! Everyone knows what a selfish little wench Fluffy the Furball is!!! She definitely has no redeeming characteristics - she is a known homewrecker, man-chaser, jealous twit and basically your all around *beep*!!:devil: :devil: I am another one that FF's any scene with that furball - I absolutely can't stand to see her face, let alone actually hear that whiney voice come out of that mouth!!! I do wish they wouldn't make Carly out to be so needy of Jack, and having such low self-esteem because he makes her feel like she is not worthy of him. That is the one reason I totally loved Carly with Simon. He knew everything about her, and loved her completely, faults and all. As much as he "supposedly" loved Kack at one time, I don't think it came close to how he feels for Carly. He made sure that she could come home to her kids, and also that she wouldn't ever be charged with stealing the jewels. He had to know that she would have to make a deal and put it all on him, but then again, he loved her enough that he always did tell her that he would NEVER let her take the blame for that!!:hug: :hug: I want Carly to be the self-assured person that she was when she was with Simon. Nothing pretentious, just Carly!! She is one of my fav's of all the soaps, and I want her to realize what a good person she is, she's smart, strong, loyal, compassionate, beautiful and fun!!! Carly has done a lot of bad too and she never gets any comeuppance. Why should Katie be any different? Carly has committed actual crimes and didn't have to pay for them. She chose to break the law and be with Simon. Rather than suffer in jail, she gets to make out with Simon day after day. Then she comes back and expects everyone else to push aside their lives and forgive her for what she did.

Okay, Katie has done wrong but who hasn't been a home wrecker and cheater? I mean some of the characteristics you used to describe Katie also applies to dear ol Carly as well. She has made her mistakes in the past but it seems like she is making a real effort to try and change her life. I mean she could be doing a hell of a lot to Carly right about now but she isn't stooping down to her level. I like both characters but as of right now, Katie is looking a whole lot better in my eyes than Carly. Lets review what Carly has done since Katie's sins are constantly being put out there: Carly single-handedly ruined her marriage to Jack by choosing to involve herself in business she shouldn't have been in. That whole Nick thing was just ridiculous. She shouldn't have went as far as to try and poison Gwen to make her look like an unfit mother. That was pushing it WAY too far and frankly I found that to be over the top ridiculous, even for Carly :rolleyes: . And then Jack has to cover her tracks and what happens? He loses his position on the force and then Carly gets the not so bright idea of trying to "help" Jack get his job back. Well, we all know how that one ends. I'm sorry but a mother of 3 should not put herself in such stupid plots. I don't care what the motivation is behind it, its called using the grey matter that is in your head!

Now this last stupid stunt that she pulled with Simon was just beyond dumb. Again, let me point out that you have 3 children that need you and you are going around putting yourself in a position where she could potentially become a prison mother. Poor Parker already loss his father and plus he has a mother who is a loose cannon and can't ever learn. And now she is back on the canvas, again plotting and scheming to get Jack back :rolleyes: and using her children in the process which I find to be awfully low, even for her. Maybe if she acted the way she was suppose to, she could get Jack back on merit alone but no, she has to go off and put herself in that position that gets her into trouble time after time. Its not cute, its not appealing, its more like pathetic and useless. I can't support CarJack anymore until the character of Carly does some changing. I'm tired of all the plots and schemes. It gets old after a while. She needs to grow up a little and take responsibility. If Katie was a former shade of herself, I bet she would be fighting her something dirty right about now as well and you never know, JP may want to do a 180 on Katie, which I hope they don't. They are finally getting her to where she is acting more like an adult. Carly has never once set out to hurt people? Okay, that is simply not true. Why is Parker treating her like crap? Because she is not being the mom she is suppose to be. What kind of a mother ups and leaves her children? What kind of mother puts her own needs before her children? What kind of mother posses a risk for her children? Maybe if Carly used the grey matter in her head, Parker wouldn't treat her the way that he does. It is pass time for Carly to grow up and be a mom to her children. They can't raise themselves. They don't need a mom that is going to make piss poor decisions and then go on the run cause she gets herself into a bind. If she made better choices in the past, she wouldn't be in place she is now. I can understand why Jack gets so frustrated with her. I mean one person can only take so much for they throw up their hands and give up, especially where children are concerned. Why can't she get a job? Have we ever thought to think "well maybe if I hadn't violated my probation" or better yet "maybe I shouldn't have bothered in police business" or better yet "maybe I shouldn't have sabotaged Gwen to make her look like an unfit mother." I just don't get Carly logic. Where was her brain at when she was making all these decisions? And she wasn't thinking of her children because if she were, she would realize by setting up Gwen, she posed a risk for being caught and sent to jail. Katie has done a whole lot of wrong to a whole lot of people but I'm seeing the effort in her trying to change. She could be down on Carly's level right now playing dirty but she chooses not to. Good for Katie. I don't see Katie as the bad guy in this one. Carly could win Jack back on merit alone but again she chooses to do things the hard way which could push him away instead of getting him back. the only trial I can think of is them getting over their "marriages", it just amazes me how Jack can so easily forget Katie's "track record" with the men in her life, she is no better than Carly, even if she is PRETENDING to be right now.
