Thanks to Skatie board
Jack/Carly/Simon/Katie/Mike: There's clearly a lot of chemistry between Carly and Simon (no there isn't, lol), and you start to see signs that it's bigger than both of them but Carly's always torn in the sense that Jack is such a monumental fact of her life. Katie protests endlessly that her feelings for Simon are over, but we've seen little signs already that it's not so easy to put an end to that. Jack is torn [about] leaving Carly, but of course, he's madly in love with her and they have children in common. Mike is the salt of the earth and he takes Katie at her word, but doesn't trust anything about Simon.
Emily/Paul/Meg: Paul spends a lot of time and energy trying to handle Emily and create a workable bond with her because he realizes he's not going to be able to just make her go away. Meg is gonna try [to stand by him], but it's always hard. There will be a lot of action involving the birth of the baby. What about Henry? We see their bond [Henry & Emily's] deepen in certain ways, but not without major conflict at one point.
Dusty/Lucy: Jennifer is their biggest obstacle. Dusty is in mourning. Lucy's grown up and she's a strong woman. Craig is certainly a facor, as is Barbara.
Teens: It's hard to say too much without giving anything away. Gwen and Will's story is very unresolved, and everybody's suspicious of everybody else at one point or another, so all that has to be sorted out & reshuffled. I don't think Maddie can walk away from this unscathed. As for Jade, her interest in Will is a major focus for her. She's certainly enigmatic in the Slasher story. She skulks around a lot. Luke is the only person in town who really gives her much attention. So in that sense, she is just a 'stay-tuned'.
Lily/Holden: We know Lily is coming back and it's not easy to just step out of a coma. In some sense, Rose is part of her recovery.
The Hugheses: There's more family lurking out there. Yes, I would say, stay alert for the reunion of family members.
Hal: In the fall, we will resolve that issue. It's obviously something we can't leave hanging. We owe it to the audience; we owe it to the show to deal responsibly.
