I got this today from daytime dollars, which I'm sure most of you did too. What do u think it means? Do you think Jen will die today? I really hate to see that happen! I guess it's just even more heartbreaking given the BH situation. I wonder what scenes he last taped...if it was a funeral scene if Jen does die? Still we're kinda prepared for that to happen, I wonder what the shocker is that will effect everyone today. Anyone hear anything or have any ideas? I'm anxious to see what happens. I'm assuming they mean it will happen today since it came today.

I also read in the spoliers at soapcentral that there is suppost to be a lot of murders in oakdale this summer. I wonder who will be killed and who the killer will be. Weird huh?

Sometimes though their idea of what is shocking and what we think is shocking are two different things :weird: Shocking to me at this point would be to have Jen somehow survive, but I would guess they are talking about her death.

It has been RUMORED a lot, no idea if it's real, that they will have Hal be killed in the line of fire to have Hal go along with Benji, but not sure if that counts as shocking now that Benji has passed away! :cry:

It would be fitting to have Hal killed in the line of fire and to go out a hero. I doubt that is what they were talking about as shocking since that was for today. However they ultimately write Hal out, I just hope they give the tribute to Hal and Ben that they deserve. Fans are really having a hard time dealing with this and I think they need to give us a way to honor him and to say goodbye.

Plus, there is a post on there under the Hal Munson Board with 2 email adresses you can email to asking for a special Benji tribute on the show! We hope if they get enough emails, they will ultimately give us a beautiful Benji Tribute!

I read on one website that they may kill Tom and Lisa off in these murders this summer because they haven't been to happy with the story lines on the show or should I say no story lines. I guess we will have to wait and see!! :cool:

They're most likely referring to Jenn's death. That would be a shocker to the people who don't read spoilers or even go online.

I agree totally. Give Hal the honorable end he deserves, and devote an entire show to honoring not just Hal the character, but Ben the man.

Also, as for the rumors that Lisa will be murdered this summer: say it ain't so. I've been watching this show at my grandmother's and mother's knees practically since its inception. Lisa is a mainstay and deserves to spend her days on this show. I can still remember when Lisa was young, married to Bob, and getting herself into mischief. Whenever Lisa misstepped, my oh-so-Southern-Baptist grandmother would sigh, shake her head and say, "Oh Lisa!" I honestly think Ga'Ma loved Lisa like a daughter. So for Lisa's sake and Ga'Ma's sake, I hope they keep her around for a long long time.

It really bothers me that Ben died the same week of the emotional scenes on the show. I'm afraid it brought death and dying to close to him. He had been leaving the show and returning so I believe that he had been ill or something because I remember once when he returned thinking that he had looked thin and like he was sick. This has been years ago. I can't get over him passing away the same week the shows aired though. Makes me wonder.

I agree with you. He created and made Hal who he was. I'll really miss Hal on the show but it would be even more upsetting to see somebody else playing the part :(

I totally agree with you. Benji is the one and only Hal. I will miss Hal but I would be really ticked it they decided to recast Hal :(
