Well the promo just made Simon seem so out of place in the Carly and Jack saga. Watching the promo you don't have to be a rocket scientist to know how it will work out. Jack and Carly will end up together. What bugs me the most is that PL time on the show is short only about 5 months left 4 by the time the carly stuff starts happening. It really seems a waste especially when Katie and Simon have their own saga. it's time that could be spent taking advantage of the great chemistry between PL and TC,not using Simon as a prop for Carly and Jack.

I think its all just hype. Notice they don't show scenes with carly and simon together? That promo is so unclear... it could mean anything. Much ado about nothing. JMO

Since there are no actual scenes in it between Carly and Simon I owuldn't be too concerned. If they ae together, the real story will be about the jealousy of Jack and Katie None We already saw Jack having 2nd thoughts about the divorce and it's clear Katie is not really over Simon.

I've said this in another thread somewhere and I will say it again. As of right now PL's stay at ATWT's is open ended. We have no idea how long he will actually stay with the show.

He could leave at the end of the year, he could sign a 3-year contract or he could end up staying permanently, we just don't know. We most likely won't know if he is going to stay longer or not until probably until near the end of this year.

Well, I think with five marriages, five divorces, three children by three different fathers, a brief affair with Craig and a one night stand with Mike, Carly has sewn enough wild oats to last a lifetime. I like and respect the Carly who has matured and learned from her mistakes and have no desire to see her revert back to her old ways regardless of who the writers want her romantically involved with. :)

Compared to Jack, Carly's practically a virgin. ;) If we added Jack and all his Julia's up, and the boinky times with them, it comes out to YEARS. Not only that, at least Carly didn't love those men, and most importantly she didn't throw those men in Jack's face like he did with her and his other women, by telling Carly about a thousand times, "I love Julia, not YOU!". Plus, we don't know anything about Jack's past before he came to Oakdale. ;) They've given Jack the luxury of having three serious LOVE affairs (where he was actually IN LOVE with the other women!) since he met Carly. Carly's had zippo because she's loved only Jack. :mad:

Also, Jack has three children by three different women, and it never stopped HIM from sewing his "wild oats". And from where I'm sitting, Carly is raising the product of one of his wild oats, she could NEVER top that. ;) Besides, Carly only has two kids by two different fathers. Not three. Unless you're counting Nora which was like, 10 years ago when she was in love with Mike and Jack hadn't even came to Oakdale. :rolleyes:

I'm looking forward to Carly moving on with her life. If that means a relationship with Simon, so be it. I hope that whatever Carly does has nothing at all to do with Jack. If they are using this relationship as a way to reunite, Carjack; I'll pass. Carly needs to be away from Jack for a very long time. Carly needs to start living for herself for a change.

This is a soap for pete's sake, people have sex all the time just to feel "momentarily" loved when the one they really love unceremoniously dumps them for NO reason like Jack's done to Carly about ten times now. And speaking of your Jack, as I recall he went and married Julia just to punish Carly, remember? You and I both agreed how wrong he was, remember? ;) At least Carly isn't a brute and goes out and marries men just to stick it to Jack the way he does to her. I have more respect for a woman who has a one night stand with an old flame because she's been spat on again, and doesn't rub her sex with him in his face the way Jack did to Carly with ALL his Julias. Lot's more respect. :D
