Did the character die or is she still in a coma?

I can't believe they are going to kill Jennifer after what they did to Rosanna.

They've never said Rosanna died so I have to assume she is still in a coma. I think the difference in the two was they hoped that Cady would come back after her leave so they wanted to leave it open, while they knew that Jennifer Ferrin is leaving to pursue other things and there's not much chance she'll return.
