From the July 11 issue of Soap Opera Weekly:
ATWT's Dusty and Jen: Till Death do us Part?
This week on ATWT, Dusty gives the ailing Jennifer an impromptu wedding. "When life offers perils, you become clear about what you want," pronounces Grayson McCouch. "And Jennifer wants to make things sacred sooner rather than later." Since his fiancee can't leave the hospital, the groom brings the wedding chapel to her. "To crank it up at the hospital is right up Dusty's alley," notes McCouch. "He cuts to the chase...He gets the important things like the preacher and the rings together and it turns out to be wondrous." Even WITH Barbara and Paul there. "Jennifer's family is a priority," acknowledges McCouch. "Dusty goes along with her loser brother. He goes along with her crazy parents. Her family is now his family." The ceremony itself is simple. "It's as it should be," muses McCouch. "It's a handful of the most important people [in their lives], each of whom gets to express their love. Weddings are happy occasions, and this one is a happy occasion." The honeymoon? That's another story.
Week of July 3
Maddie's past is no present.
Emily is a-Pauled.
Luke stays in (the closet) with Kevin.
Katie and Simon get Lost. (July 4)
Week of July 10
Jack and Carly lay some ground rules.
Katie lets Simon know how she feels.
A jealous Maddie loses control.
