AS THE WORLD TURNS: Baby Johnny was released from the hospital, but Jennifer was ill with pneumonia. Jennifer left the hospital against medical advice but was rushed back in serious condition. The doctors informed Dusty that Jennifer's condition was terminal, and Jennifer asked Dusty to marry her quickly. Dusty laid into Lucy for letting Jennifer leave the hospital. Katie was accidentally tossed overboard from the cruise ship, and Simon jumped into the water to save her.

Watch For: Damian continues to manipulate Luke. Jack can't help being attracted to Carly.

Jennifer will come down with pneumonia. That is not a terminal disease although it can certainly be fatal.

Pneumonia can be fatal however it can also be a symptom of a terminal disease ( Aids , Lung Cancer, Drug- Induced Pulmonary Fibrosis ).

Oh. Is this what ties back to people thinking that Jennifer gets lung cancer from smoking meth, even though she didn't smoke it?

You don't have to smoke to get Lung Cancer (Dana Reeve ). I'm not saying Jen has Lung Cancer that was just one of the examples I was using.
