her last air date is July 7, how do you think Jen will leave since the recast is not in place yet?
Ever since I've heard about a CBS character dying, I've been afraid that Jennifer will be killed off. No sign of a recast yet is making me think that maybe she won't be recast at all.

I think if they kill Jen, it will be a 'mysterious no body' type death b/c they will leave the door open to recast....
There is supposedly some kind of mystery coming up, what if Jen disappears / is presumed dead?
Of course, there would be massive irony in that considering in the scope of a year her son, brother, and fiancee have all been presumed dead to her lol

I wouldn't mind if Jenifer took a permanent vacation from Oakdale! I hope they do NOT recast her and Dusty gets back with Lucy.

Dusty would never let Jennifer leave town without him. He has no reason to stay in Oakdale anyway. Without John, Dusty doesn't have any family or ties. I could see Justy taking the summer off and then Dusty returning with a new Jennifer.

Well we know that's NOT happening. GM NEVER meantioned he was leaving, so it doesn't look like Dusty will be going anywhere with Jenniwhine.

well i heard that the character being killed off will be on B&B.....but there was still that rumor about a murder myster on atwt. But i just can't see it being jennifer. Who would want her dead. I don't think she has any enemies (well not ones who would kill her).....maybe james

Hmm, but why would James want her dead? He has never had any beef with Jennifer.

Are you kidding! It seems clear to me that Dusty has his tie with the Montgomery/Walsh/Snyder familys:
1. He supposedly works for Lucinda and she has seemed to be like a mother figure to him
2. He has dated Lily, Rose, and Lucy, not to mention he attends every M/W/S family gathering/event as if he were one of the family
Technically, he'd still have ties to Oakdale, it wouldn't be such .
This is my opinion, no one has to agree with me.

Dusty will do whatever the writers have him do. There's no word about Grayson taking time off, so I think Dusty will still be in Oakdale. I suppose we all have our own visions of what Dusty would actually do.
It takes time to recast any character and do it right. I think it will be a few months, maybe longer before Jennifer shows up again. I'm assuming she's either using again, which would explain the paranoia two weeks ago, or some mysterious disease that requires treatment elsewhere and no one will know for sure where she goes. It's kind of stale, but it's a soap opera staple way of writing a character off for awhile.
last i checked, dusty was on the show before he hooked up with the dragon.

It is very possible for Dusty Donovan to exist without Jennifer. Everyone has a current flavor of the month that they claim is "the" love of their life. Dusty has had three since his character came back four years ago. Jennifer has had three in the last eighteen months. Dusty can exist without Jennifer, and Jennifer can exist without Dusty. And I believe we're going to see that happen very shortly.
If Jen dies, does anyone think she will stay dead or will she return Taylor style? I would think that it would be a perfect opportunity for James to return, steal Jen from the hospital, take her somewhere for a certain period of time just to mess with Babs some more. Babs is a whole lot more interesting when James is floating around.
